A large, brilliantly plumaged bird which lives along the eastern seaboard  and mountain ranges of Australia. “They usually keep to heavier coastal and mountain forests during breeding season. In the wild are wary and will fly far if disturbed”. Early morning image of a male bird. A regular and welcome visitor to the wildlife refuge.
